Pork Loin with Pear and Ginger Chutney

So I got my hands on some pork loin earlier today. Didn’t have any immediate plans for it. At first, I imagined slicing it into thick chops and grilling them to perfection. I could already taste the juicy, savory flavor, with a crispy char on the outside. Maybe I could even marinate the chops overnight in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger, to give them an extra kick of flavor.

Crazy for Chicken

I had recently stocked up on chicken, buying a bulk pack from the grocery store to save some money. But as I stared into my freezer, I realized that I had gone a little overboard. As the days ticked by and Christmas drew closer, my kitchen became a flurry of activity. I baked pies, whipped up batches of fudge, and experimented with new recipes for festive drinks and appetizers. Every time I tasted a new creation, I felt a sense of joy! But what I want to talk about is is cupcakes. Obviously. Red velvet cupcakes are a mystery to me… there is nothing really special about them aside from their color. They’re basically barely-chocolate flavored…
